Cora had a stellar weekend at the 2006 NC Regional Sieger show this weekend hosted by Minnesota Working Rottweiler Association in Lake Elmo, MN. Thanks go out to: Michelle Schwartzbauer for handling her in the BST. Chuck Wilson (Vom Waldbach) for breeding her and entrusting her to us. Warren Skura for training immediately prior to the trial. Marty Leggett for helping us put on an outstanding foundation. What an amazing weekend.... First, she put on a truly outstanding performance in the BST. Her rock solid temperament was evident in the measurement and temperament portion of the test. Judge Andreas Mueller provided an excellent critique. The Cora really turned it on in the protection. During the attack out of the blind, she was on the helper in an instant. She engaged with an excellent grip that was described as full, calm and solid and maintained it through the drive. She outed cleanly, with just the slightest thought of going in for another grip, but instead settled into strong, rhythmic barking. Michelle picked her up cleanly and headed headed up field for the courage test. Cora showed no hesitation in the courage test. She again engaged the helper with a full, calm and solid grip that she maintained throughout the drive. Cora passed with flying colors and earned the distinction "breedable". Then, to continue her fabulous weekend, she earned a V1 in the highly competetive open females class! Perhaps she had a leg up on the competition with the BST being so fresh in the judge's mind. But Cora certainly showed well. She never broke down in the movement and showed herself to be of "full temperament"! Cora truly is one very special bitch!
