Hi all, this is Chalase. 37 weeks have come and gone, and we are both doing great. We had a bit of excitement with a 'false' labor at the beginning of 35 weeks which was exciting! Nothing like waking up at 4:30am and thinking you are in labor. But it was just a false alarm, contracting eight to tens times an hour for 36 hours, but nothing was regular. My midwife told me it was a warm-up.

The pictures posted this time have an extra picture. We wanted to add the back shot, because everyone keeps saying you can’t tell I’m pregnant from behind. In fact from the front if I’m wearing one of my regular (non-maternity) t-shirts, it totally looks like I’m hiding a basketball under my shirt.

The baby had become more active, which has been surprising to me. You can actually watch my belly moving around like a water bed; if freaks Chris out sometimes. He will even ask her what she’s doing in there, and I would like to know too. But the funny part is when, in his Darth Vader voice says, “Ellen this is your father”.

We are both really excited and knowing how close it is now, that it could be any day now. Excited, scared, excited, this is just too much to take.
